It looks like Sheridan Smith has done the miraculous and gotten Prince William to admit he liked Gavin and Stacey. Woo, us too!
The 33-year-old - who appeared in Ruth Jones and James Corden's sitcom between 2007 and 2010 - was receiving her OBE for services to drama when Wills paid her the ultimate compliment.
After the ceremony Sheridan said: "I did say I don't feel as worthy as so many of the recipients, but thank you so much, it's a huge honour.
"He said he'd seen some of my work, which is amazing, and was a fan of Gavin and Stacey.
"And I congratulated him on his wonderful children and he shook my hand and I was shaking - it's all a bit of a blur. I never ever expected to get an OBE so this is absolutely indescribable."
The BAFTA Award-winning actress was looking top notch at Buckingham Palace as she received her OBE, wearing a 40s' style blue dress and killer heels.
Prior to the event she tweeted: “OBE day! Typical my lot, my specially made hat not delivered! Gutted. Ah well, always a drama in my world. At least I'm on time I guess ;) x”
Followed by her overjoyous tweets of: "What a day, spent with my amazing family! & my man drove an 8hr round trip just for a cuddle! Feeling loved! Night my ever supportive twit fam.
"P.s never had a hotel be this caring, & for no extra fee! People have been SO kind. Truly overwhelmed! N'night gang."
Aww it looks like she was then joined by her beau, Greg Wood, for a cuddled support in the evening.
