Actor Shia LaBeouf has never been one of those standard Hollywood types.
If he isn’t putting paper bags on his head, or sitting in empty rooms for the sake of ‘art,’ he’s asking the big questions like ‘Why does a goat jump?’ or watching every single one of his films with members of the public.
And now the 29-year-old Transformers’ star has set up shop in a Liverpool art gallery as part of his latest project, encouraging fans to phone him and ‘touch his soul.’

Yes, really.
Shia, and two of his artistic collaborators, will field calls from across the country, between the hours of 11AM and 6PM Thursday to Sunday.
The exhibition at Fact gallery in the Scouse capital, is described as follows on the website:
‘In a world where we use Instagram and Twitter 'likes' to assess who and what is important, and fame is just a click away, what impact is the internet really having on how we think about ourselves and those around us?’
Well quite.
Shia famously turned up to the Berlin Film Festival in a tux and paper bag combination, with the words: ‘I am not famous anymore’ written across his covered face.
We wonder what wisdom this enterprising actor will uncover from his latest stunt? Maybe give him a call to find out on: 0151 808 0771.
