Although Lamar Odom is in a critically ill condition in hospital, it’s reported tonight that he is showing signs of improvement.
Insiders claimed to Entertainment Tonight that Kim Kardashian, who has been at Lamar’s bedside along with his estranged wife Khloe, their mum Kris Jenner and Lamar’s extended family (including his father and aunt), felt Lamar squeeze her hand and saw his eyelashes flutter.
Lamar has been at the Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas for two days and is believed to be in a medically induced coma, after being found unconscious at the Love Ranch brothel.
“They were worried about his kidneys,” a source told the* New York Daily New*s. “They were failing today, but they gave him dialysis. His doctors think he could be OK. He is still critical, in ICU. So, anything can happen.”
TMZ report that prior to being hospitalised Lamar Odom blew $75,000 on a luxury trip to the Nevada brothel. The 35-year-old basketball player selected two sex workers at Dennis Hof’s Love Ranch South on Saturday after being chauffeured from his home in Vegas by the brothel’s employees.
He then spent the next few days partying with the women and taking “up to” ten tabs of herbal Viagra – a supplement that can cause dangerously low blood pressure in some men – the Nye County sheriff’s office has confirmed.
Lamar was found by one of the sex workers in one of the ranch’s VIP suites on Tuesday afternoon. He was bleeding from the nose and mouth, and had a ‘white substance’ on his face.
Traces of cocaine have since been found in his blood stream, and the ranch worker who called an ambulance for Lamar confirmed that he had taken the drug on Saturday – although he wasn’t sure if Lamar had continued to use it throughout his stay.
As yet, there have been no updates from Lamar’s team about his medical condition, although it’s believed he’s still ‘critical’ and in a coma.
