Simon Cowell’s £30million mansion burgled as music mogul and family sleeps

Simon Cowell and his family were left traumatised after his London home was burgled while they were inside.

The X Factor judge, girlfriend Lauren Silverman and their son Eric were at the £35million house in the early hours of yesterday morning when cash and jewellery was taken.

A source told the Daily Mirror: “It was clearly a very traumatic incident. Simon is just relieved that his family was safe and all right. Their safety is his number one priority.”

It is understood music boss Simon and his loved ones were asleep at the time of the break-in and a security guard called the police.

Cops rushed to the property in Holland Park, West London but the burglars had fled by the time they arrived.

Scotland Yard told the paper: “No arrests have been made but inquiries are ongoing.”

It is not the first time Simon has run into trouble at home – stalker Leanne Zaloumis broke into his house in 2012 brandishing a brick and hid on a shelf in his huge walk in wardrobe.

He was watching television when he heard a loud bang in his bathroom and officers found her smashing a window with the brick, with her hands covered in blood.

She was given a 12-month community order and remained in custody for 102 days until she was released with an electronic tag.
