You will laugh. Probably.

Nick Grimshaw's Call or Delete segment on the Radio 1 Breakfast Show has always been brilliant, but this latest prank starring Simon Cowell could be the best one yet.

Cowell appeared on the show this morning to promote the new series of Britain's Got Talent, and played a prank on Amanda Holden, phoning her to say she'd been replaced by Cheryl Fernandez-Versini on the live shows. His excuse? He wanted a "younger" host to bring in a wider audience.

To be fair, Amanda takes it pretty well - aside from the mega awkward silence, and asking Cowell whether he was joking. And she almost appears to be duped!
