With The X Factor making headlines for all the WRONG reasons- such as ‘dismal’ ratings- it looks like the stars of Strictly Come Dancing may be feeling a bit smug.
BBC Strictly judge Craig Revel Horwood has suggested that Simon Cowell could boost ratings (which are currently being beaten by the Antiques Roadshow) by making a guest appearance on the hit showbiz ballroom talent show.
Craig joked to Women magazine: “My thoughts are already turning to the Christmas special, and I’d love to see Simon Cowell on it this year.
"He would fit right in on the dance floor with those high trousers.
“Simon might need to do it after this year’s dismal X Factor ratings. At least he’d get more viewers that way.”
OUCH!
He dug the knife in deeper, adding: “I’ve watched a bit of this series - and there are some fantastic voices, but they’ve been given terrible material.
“It’s a real shame to see talent mismanaged like that, and it’s all getting a bit desperate.”
This could get pretty ugly if Simon Cowell decides to get his gloves on, too!
