Simon Cowell was reportedly left in tears whilst filming Britain's Got Talent: The Champions, following an emotional reunion with Julia Carlile, two years after he paid £175,000 for her to have life-changing surgery on her back.
Julia, who suffers from scoliosis, originally auditioned with her dance troupe MerseyGirls in 2017, in an attempt to win the £250,000 cash prize for the surgery. However, the group failed to win the show.
Filming the show over the weekend, the pair were brought back together and, as The Sun reports, Simon choked up when he saw Julia and the troupe back on stage.

Prompted by fellow judge Amanda Holden to comment on their performance, Simon choked back tears as he said, "All I want to talk about is one person’s strength and, beyond that, the friendship and support you all have, which we saw the first time we met you.
"To see you able to come back tonight… it just means everything".
Alesha Dixon, who pressed her Golden Buzzer for the girls, added, "That just made my heart soar. Simon, I love you, I love what you’ve done for her".
Julia then had a special thank you for Simon. She reportedly said, "I thought that now I would be at home not dancing for the rest of my life. But here I am back flipping with my best friends".
