We’ve never heard Simon Cowell sing (well, we did briefly on X Factor USA but it was a bit rubbish) or play an instrument, but there’s no doubt he knows something about the music industry.
And it seems some of the record label boss’s wisdom has been imparted to his little son Eric – X Factor whizz Simon posted a video the eight-month-old online playing the drums online.
Well, technically he doesn’t actually touch the instrument but he does wave a stick around in the air above it while smiling and looking dangerously cute. In the background Story Of My Life – the song by his prized creation One Direction – can be heard playing.
Simon captioned the Facebook video: "One Direction have just hired Eric as their new drummer."
Well, without hitting the drum he might not make much noise on stage, but he will surely gain the band even more fans because HE IS JUST SO ADORABLE.
One Direction have a tour coming up next year so at least Eric has enough time to rehearse…
