Aww, some happy baby news to cheer us all up on a gloomy Monday eve! Terri Seymour, ex-lady friend of The X Factor big boss Simon Cowell, is pregnant with her first child.
The 39-year-old brunette announced the news during an episode of American TV show Extra saying, “I'm extremely excited and really happy to say I'm pregnant. Clark and I are going to be a mummy and daddy."
Seymour, who has been dating British model Clark Mallon for 3 years, previously dated Simon for 6 years. She said she has already shared the happy news with her ex and he’s delighted for her!
"His reaction was really sweet, extremely happy for me, then he turned around to me and said, 'Of course, I obviously have to be the godfather.' I was like, 'Ok', and he said, 'I'm serious.' It kind of makes sense since I'm (his son) Eric's godmother."
When Mr Nasty asks/tells you that he is going to be the godfather or your child, you can’t really say no. Plus, just imagine the awesome christening party. It’ll probably be on a massive yacht in the middle of the Indian ocean somewhere. With champagne and fruit…
We digress.
Anyway, it does make sense. Simon is close to all of his exes and treats them as close family friends. He invites Sinitta over to wear leaves around his house, for crying out loud. And he recently became a father for the first time himself when his partney Lauren Silverman gave birth to little Eric so he must be a but smushier.
