They say that in order to get over your fears you need to face them. Simon Cowell is using this logic in an effort to help a woman who claims she has an ‘allergy’ to the X Factor judge.

Michelle Hall from Sunderland has been on medication to help her cope with her fear of the music mogul, and says she suffers from panic attacks when she sees his face.

So naturally, Simon thought he should meet the 42-year-old mum-of-three.

The Sun reported that Simon has offered in invitation for Michelle to come to the X Factor studios.

He said: “Michelle is welcome down to the show any time.”

According to a source close to Michelle, she finds the prospect just too terrifying.

They said: Michelle is grateful for the offer, but thinks that facing Simon in the flesh would be too difficult for her.

“The symptoms she goes through are quite severe enough when she is just watching him on the TV, so imagine how bad they would be in person.”
