Simon Cowell and X Factor’s Stevi Richie dine on £4.99 Scampi at Harvester!

We never thought we’d see the day Simon Cowell shovelled reasonably priced Scampi into his mouth.

But the day has come, as Simon yesterday dined out with his X Factor contestant Stevi Richie at a Harvester in Boston Manor, London.

The music mogul indulged in some £4.99 Scampi and chips and helped himself to the AMAZING all-you-can-eat salad bar as other diners put down their forks and snapped away wildly with their cameras.

Apparently lucky old Simon was even offered a free starter or ice cream sundae after the chain restaurant began trending on Twitter after it got a mention on Saturday night’s show.

Stevi and Simon’s date kicked off after Stevi invited his mentor to see the sights of his hometown Colchester, before Simon asked “Can we go to a Harvester? I’d like that.”

“Simon loves traditional British food and jumped at the chance to do some filming with Stevi over dinner,” an insider told the Mirror.

“Other people in the restaurant couldn’t believe it when they saw Cowell at the salad bar. They were queuing up for pics and autographs with him and Stevi was delighted too.”
