Norwich fans will be nervously awaiting their fate on Monday in the Championship play-off final against Middlesbrough – but they can count on the support of one unexpected supporter, Snoop Dogg.

Snoop Dogg, Snoop Lion, Snoop Giraffe – whatever his name is now, took to the stage at Earlham Park in Norwich for Radio 1's Big Weekend with a personalised Canaries shirt given to him by the station.

The 43-year-old posted a series of snaps on his Instagram saying: “I don’t care I love it . .. show time.”

Does this mean the rapper joins the likes of Delia Smith, Stephen Fry and, erm, Ed Balls as celebrity Norwich fans?

Erm, no.

The 'Doggfather' has worn about 456, 000 other football shirts on stage in the past – including England, Liverpool, Manchester United, Arsenal, Celtic and Barcelona.

We’re still yet to see the rapper in a Millwall shirt…
