This is a crazy way to end a Monday… footage of what looks like Solange Knowles physically attacking sister Beyonce’s husband Jay Z has just emerged online.
The grainy black and white CCTV footage – which US gossip site* TMZ* claims shows Beyonce, Jay Z and Solange stepping into a lift at the Standard Hotel in New York after the Met Gala – appears to depict Solange launching herself at Jay and attacking him.
Solange is then restrained by a large man – thought to be a bodyguard – but she breaks free and kicks out again. It’s pretty shocking stuff.
The figure thought to be the rap superstar does his best to fend off the attack, while the person thought to be Beyonce seems to step in without getting physically involved in what’s going on.
