Draco Malfoy’s usually found beefin’ it out with Harry Potter in, erm, Harry Potter – but Tom Felton, who played the Slytherin bad-boy in all eight Harry Potter movies, is ACTUALLY a Gryffindor.

Condemning a wizard to the wrong house, J K Rowling? WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?!

The 27-year-old actor took to Twitter to vent his heartbreak at being sorted into the wrong house: “Today was the day. I finally did it. I joined Pottermore and was sorted into........Gryffindor.”

He added: “Heart broken x #slytherinforlife.”

Commenting on the news that Malfoy might just be slytherin along (GEDDIT?) to Gryffindor house, Harry said: “If you havin’ Sorting Hat problems, I feel bad for you son – I got 99 problems but the Hogwarts house ain’t one.” Okay, he didn’t say that, but it would have been a magical moment.

And what’s worse, J to the K to the Rowling knew it all along! The author tweeted: “@TomFelton I could've told you that years ago. I just didn't want to spoil your motivation.”

Draco’s father will be hearing about this!
