It’s probably the most dangerous show on TV, but against all odds, The Jump is back, and one of our reality faves Spencer Matthews has been confirmed to appear.
HURRAH!
Just make sure you’ve got your insurance docs in check before you step out onto the slopes, eh, Spenny?
Other celebs who have been announced so far include model Caprice, rugby players Gareth Thomas and Jason Robinson, plus retired footballer Robbie Fowler.
Many assumed the Channel 4 show would be axed after SO many celeb injuries over the years.
There were SEVEN stars injured on last year’s show alone.
Spencer’s former Made In Chelsea co-star Mark-Francis Vandelli snapped a bone in his ankle, Olympic swimmer Becky Adlington dislocated her shoulder, and poor Holby City actress Tina Hobley is still, er, hobbling around on crutches after her injury last year.
But show host Davina McCall reckons the stars who take part are super brave, and assures viewers that this year’s crop of contestants will be given extra safety training before they take part.
“It is a crazy, crazy show to be part of and our contestants are just the coolest, bravest people on television,” she said on Lorraine.
"Not because we put them at any risk, but you know, it's just being in the snow. Normally you're in the snow for a week and you have a certain amount of risk, but if you're in the snow for eight to ten weeks and you're on the slopes every day doing these crazy events ... these people are amazing.
"People that love it, love it. So I'm really pleased they do. We've got an amazing line-up - an unbelievable line-up. And no, I can't tell you, but we have quite a few people set. They're crazy amazing people - I'm so excited."
Davina, you tease!
We can’t wait to hear which other celebs have signed up.
