The Spice Girls 20th anniversary celebrations are imminent and despite Mel C and Victoria Beckham not particularly being up for it – the band still have some huge things planned.
Including a TV mini-series, documenting their mammoth success.
A TV insider told The Sun: "The Spice Girls comeback is the big story in pop so it’s no wonder the girls want to maximise their popularity.
"There is certainly a big audience for it. BBC, ITV and Sky will no doubt be fighting it out for the rights.
"The girls are always good value, so there will be plenty of material."
The band apparently want to incorporate footage from back in the day as well as new footage of the girls recording their new album that Simon Cowell is DEZZY to be in charge of.
A source told The Sun: "Simon is desperate to make a new Spice Girls album. He doesn’t want to miss out after the first time around."
Mel B, Geri Halliwell and Emma Bunton are all going to be involved and even though it was recently reported that they would be holding AUDITIONS for new members – they've decided against it.
Plus, Posh and Sporty may even have time to get involved in the documentary series – which is what we all want, what we really, really want.
At least we won't have to fork out for those $$$ reunion tour tickets.
