For months there's been speculation that the Spice Girls would reunite in 2016 to mark the 20th anniversary of their band – but that all looks like it's going to fall through now.
According to TMZ, Victoria Beckham has ruled herself out of appearing alongside her follow Spicees, saying she'd rather focus on her family after a stressful last year.
The US site claims her rep said Posh is done with the Spice Girls and has no plans to team up with them again "now or in the future".
SOB.
"[Victoria] has been very respectful about the fabulous time they had together in the past, however her focus is now very much her family and fashion business," the rep added.
The fivesome – Mel B, Mel C, Emma Bunton, Geri Halliwell and VB – haven't performed together as a group since the Olympic Games of 2012 – and this year's anniversary was the perfect time for them to get back together.
However, Closer magazine reports that Victoria might do a few dates to show willing, after coming under fire from Mel B.
A source told the mag: "The girls had been trying to persuade Victoria to join the tour and Mel B was furious at her for refusing to get involved."
"[Victoria] did a lot of thinking over the festive period and realised that while she couldn't commit to the entire tour, she at least owed it to the girls and their fans to show her support and do a couple of London gigs."
So will she do it? Or should we all try to console our inner pre-teen girl with the thought that at least Boyzone are still going strong?
