Stacey Solomon is all about body positivity and regularly takes to social media to promote it, however she has recently opened up in a magazine interview about her struggles with anxiety and post-natal depression.

Now, the Loose Women panellist, who is a supporter of the mental health charity Mind, has revealed to Happiful how she copes with her anxiety. "The best way for me to cope with it, is to just accept that it is a part of me," Stacey explained.

"There are good sides to it, and bad sides to it. The good side is that it makes me vigilant about my health, albeit too vigilant. The bad side is that it leaves me feeling very anxious sometimes, and unable to focus on anything else."

Stacey also explained how, after giving birth to her oldest son Zachary, at the age of just 18, she suffered post natal depression, but she didn't know what was happening to her.

During the interview, Stacey addressed the negative media representation that she has experienced saying, "I feel really passionate about body confidence. It has been and probably always will be an uphill struggle for men and women to feel completely happy, because we are always being told who we should be, and what we should change."

She continued, "If thereโ€™s anything I can do to ease the tension for people who feel like they have to look a certain way to be valued, to be heard... Iโ€™d like to be doing that. What you look like doesnโ€™t change who you are as a person fundamentally."

Over the summer, Stacey shared an inspirational message about her 'extra fold over tummy lines'. The mum-of-two posted a photo of herself wearing an orange bikini, sitting in front of some bright pink and white flowers, captioned, 'Nature = the prettiest backgrounds. No filter needed. Loving my extra fold over tummy lines this year, they look like a six pack wahoo! Winning! Happy hump day xxx'.

After posting the photo, her fans commented with messages of praise such as, 'I prefer you natural. Stunner ๐Ÿ’‹', '๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ’œ you look fab ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘ and 'Love this ๐Ÿ–ค๐Ÿ–ค๐Ÿ–ค'.

Stacey's boyfriend Joe Swash is currently out in Australia ready for the new series of I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here, where he hosts the spin-off show I'm a Celebrity: Extra Camp.
