There’s less than two months to go until Stacey Solomon marries her fiancé, Joe Swash. But the blushing bride-to-be has more on her mind than flower arrangements and first dances. The mum-of-four has told friends she’s got a serious case of baby fever yet again, as her little boy Rex turns three and her baby daughter Rose says her first word.

“Stacey doesn’t know what it is about the wedding that’s making her feel broody, but it’s suddenly all she’s talking about,” says a source close to the TV star, who is mum to Zachary, 14, and Leighton, ten, from previous relationships, and Rex and Rose, eight months, with Joe.

“She said she wasn’t going to have any more after Rose, but she seems to have totally changed her mind. It breaks her heart to think that her children will be all grown up and leaving home one day. It could only be a few more years before Zachary could be moving out, going to uni or starting a job! She cannot stand the idea of battling empty nest syndrome. Having another baby makes her feel like she has purpose and it’s the only thing keeping her calm at the moment.”

The 32-year-old, who was nominated as People’s Choice Mum Of The Year at the GLOMAMA Awards earlier this year, was clearly feeling emotional about her babies last week. Sharing a birthday tribute to Rex on Instagram as he turned three, she wrote, “Happy Birthday Rex. Oh we love you so much our happy, kind, wonderful, Dino loving pickle. 3 years has gone too fast.”

She then added a series of gushy videos on her stories, with one featuring a weepy song about her “baby boy” and the caption, “Every year they get older is bittersweet. I love watching them grow, but at the same time I could stay in some of these moments forever… It all goes far too quickly.”

Stacey also recently shared an emotional post celebrating Rose’s first words, writing, “The best feeling in the world. Rose has said her first word. And it’s Mumma. My heart is so full. Well done Rosey Posey, Mumma loves you so much.”

But friends are worried all this broodiness is proving too big a distraction for theI’m A Celeb winner – who is due to marry her partner of seven years, Joe, 40, at the end of July. “There’s still so much to sort out.” says our insider.

“Stacey has more on her plate than anyone could cope with right now, with wedding planning, redecorating their home, all her TV work – not to mention the kids under her feet. How would she cope if she got pregnant on top of all that? But Stace says she loves the chaos and insists it’s a case of the more the merrier when it comes to having kids.”

Last year, the Loose Women presenter revealed that having Rose had been difficult, saying, “When we were trying to have this baby, it wasn’t the process we thought it would be, so we were just so grateful to even get pregnant. I don’t want to push it any more. This is enough.”

And it’s a decision former EastEnders actor, Joe – who also has a 14-year-old son, Harry, from a previous relationship – is reminding Stacey about.

We’re told, “Joe is content with the five kids they have. He thinks they’ve done really well with their blended family and is worried about how they’d afford another child. Stacey knows that, but she can’t help herself. She’s said it would be a miracle if she got pregnant again, and a sign from the universe that it was meant to be.”
