A brief scroll through her Instagram feed and we can all see that Stacey Solomon, has had a bloody great year. And after celebrating Christmas at Pickle Cottage with Joe and their children, an insider tells heat that Stacey still can’t believe her luck.
Our source says, “Stacey has to pinch herself that this is her life, even though they’ve been at Pickle Cottage for nearly two years. She is just so grateful for everything. Raising her family here is her dream come true and it’s hard to remember what her life used to be like as a single mum, living with her own mum and struggling to make ends meet.”
Stacey, 33, and husband Joe Swash, 40, moved into their £1.2m Tudor-style home in 2021, after months of searching for the perfect place to meet their family’s needs.
The couple are parents to three-year-old son Rex and one-year-old daughter Rose, plus Stacey’s sons Zachary,
14, and Leighton, ten, and Joe’s son, 15-year- old Harry, all from previous relationships, and have just revealed they're adding another child to their brood with a glorious Insta announcement.
The Loose Women star has made a name for herself – on top of everything else – as the queen of upcycling, as
she’s shared the cottage’s transformation on social media. This year saw her write a book called Tap To Tidy At Pickle Cottage: Crafting & Creating A Home With Love, as well as helping the nation declutter with her TV show Sort Your Life Out. And as if she’s not busy enough with her work projects and raising her kids, Stacey has managed to beautifully decorate her front door to match each and every season.
Pickle Cottage was even the venue for the happy couple’s wedding in July. After more than six years together, having a big house for her blended family with Joe is a dream come true. It’s easy to see why the couple has always been thrilled to expand their brood.
“Having kids is addictive,” Joe Swash said earlier this year. “I love it. I love being a dad and a husband. If I can be half what my dad was to us as a family, I’d be happy. And I’m never going to say never to more kids. Let’s see what happens.”
And we’re told, “Once Stacey got her much-wanted daughter, she thought she was done, but she’s always been open to the idea of having more. Joe would have a dozen children if he could and Stacey loves watching him with the kids. She wanted to make Pickle Cottage a happy and fun family home, and feels she’s done that.”
