Stacey Solomon took her trademark ditzy charms to a new level last night when she read lines straight from her script on the opening night of pantomime Dick Whittington.
She's playing the role of Fairy Bowbells, and donned a tiara, princess dress and a sparkly clipboard for the opening performance.
Well, at least the clipboard was sparkly!
Apparently, she hasn’t had a spare moment to memorise her lines because of her presenting commitments on I’m a Celebrity Extra Camp.
Her spokesperson told the MailOnline: "She arrived at the theatre this morning jet lagged and shattered, and got straight on with it. After 2 hours prep with the director and cast she went on and performed in front of a packed theatre. I could not be prouder of this woman right now. She's an absolute fighter."
TBF that does sound like an absolute mare of a day – we'd need several clipboards.
Stacey was presenting the show every day with super early starts and late finishes. We can imagine how awks it must have been going on feeling unprepared, so at least she didn’t bottle it altogether!
Fans were less understanding, though, with one tweeting: "Some actors train for 3 years. And some just be Stacey Solomon. This sums up everything that's wrong with the biz."
She might have bitten off more than she can chew here, but surely we can give her a break. Not only has she just spent three weeks in the jungle but she’s also a mother of two boys, so she’s basically working a double shift at this point!
