It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas… not only have the weird bald lights gone up before anyone actually turns them on, but Starbucks have launched this year’s Christmas cup design.
And guess what? YOU CAN COLOUR IT IN. So soothing. So calming. Perfect for when the coffee downer hits and you get all nervy - just colour in the cup!
Annoyingly, they’ve only launched in the US, but it’s only a matter of time before they’re introduced to this side of the pond.
For the first time, the design isn't red. Instead, the white cups are decorated with a load of wintry symbols - from Christmas trees to snowflakes - that you can shade in yourself. After you’ve drunk the coffee, obviously. Otherwise you’ll get it all over yourself.
"I liked the idea of hands as the centring point, a symbol of connection, love and giving joy,” Jordan Kay from Starbucks Creative Studio explained as part of a statement. "Whether it’s wrapping presents or decorating a tree, writing cards or enjoying a mug of cocoa."
The image of the new Starbucks cup leaked on Reddit back in October, but nobody guessed we’d be able to colour them in. Now all we need to do is actually buy some pencils…
