Stars have voiced their support for Kesha following a judge's ruling that she must stay in her contract with Sony Records.
The singer is currently locked in a legal battle with producer Dr. Luke; she claims he abused her and he is suing her for defamation. Due to the bitter proceedings, Kesha requested to have a temporary break from the Sony label so she could continue making music without having to work with Dr. Luke but it has been denied by a New York judge.
Many stars and fellow singers have now spoken out on Twitter to give Kesha their support.
Kelly Clarkson, who has worked with Dr. Luke, responded to a tweet describing the situation as "legit bulls***", saying: "Trying 2 not say anything since I can't say anything nice about a person... so this is me not talking about Dr. Luke (sic)"
Kesha first filed a lawsuit against her long-time producer in October 2014, citing "mental manipulation, emotional abuse and sexual assault."
She has previosuly said that the delays in the case have rendered her career "effectively over," with the preliminary injunction papers stating that the singer's brand value had fallen "past the point of no return."
