Poor old Stephanie Davis has had a real time of it these past few months - going on CBB, getting with Jeremy McConnell while her boyfriend watched sadly from a faraway sofa, getting trolled for "faking" her pregnancy (before she shut down the haterz with a BIG reveal of her baby bump. Take that, haterz).

And she'd continued to shut 'em down with regular pics of her and the bump. But fans have noticed that she's been very social media silent this week – and some speculated that she'd already given birth to her son.

These suspicions were heightened when a Twitter user posted: "@StephDavis77 lovely to meet you today. All the best with everything. He's adorable xx."

But her people have denied that her baby has been born, and have confirmed that she's in hospital due to an illness.

"We can confirm Stephanie has been in hospital since Wednesday 2nd November due to an illness and is currently undergoing further tests," they told OK! Online.

"We would like to confirm that Stephanie has not given birth and her unborn baby boy is doing well."

Stephanie recently spoke publicly about how her stress levels had led her hair to fall out, which prompted aforementioned dicklord Jeremy (the supposed father of her baby) to insult her on Instagram.

Literally, wow.

He posted a (now deleted) screengrab of an article in which she discusses the hairloss, and commented: "Aw stop I'm in knots, not cause you dye it white blonde from dark brown , any time I see an attention seeking article that makes me laugh I'm posting it."

But Steph took the high road, posting on Twitter:

"I have no desire publicly or otherwise to discuss that any further. I wish him all the best"

"Contrary to reports earlier this week any mention of my previous relationship was in response to questions asked.."
