Rarely a day goes by when there isn't some sort of shock turn of events in the seemingly never ending Stephanie Davis – Jeremy McConnell saga.
After the aftermath of Jeremy's alleged arrest for assault (Steph was named as his victim in reports), Jez took to Twitter and Instagram last night to declare his love for the mother of his son.
At the time, it looked as though Steph reciprocated this sentiment, however her replies later disappeared and she claimed her Twitter had been hacked. Keeping up? OK, good.
Well now, Stephanie has reportedly revealed that she's definitely not getting back together with Jeremy, but that he's been battling a drug addiction and is heading into rehab imminently.
Speaking to OK! Online she explained: "From the beginning of last year, from when I was trying to prove to everyone I was pregnant and everything like that, Jeremy has had a drug problem.
"He has agreed to go to rehab for six weeks. It will be quite immediate.
"Jeremy knows that he is 100% in the wrong. And he has done things that aren’t good. But he isn’t a bad person, deep down, he’s not an evil vindictive person."
Stephanie also revealed that now that Jeremy has admitted to having a problem, she is willing to stand by him and help him through it.
She was also quick to add that she's knows Jeremy's recent behaviour has been "appalling" but she has "never stopped loving him."
She told the magazine: "Sometimes when you’re in that position you hurt the people you love the most."
According to Steph, Jeremy has come to terms with the fact he has a problem and has admitted he needs help, telling her "I’ve got a problem and I can’t continue with this. And I love you and I can’t lose you and I don’t want to lose our son."
Steph apparently made it clear to Jeremy that he would not be able to spend time with Caben-Albi until he 'resolved his issues'.
Despite reportedly pleading with a fan not to release a video allegedly showing Jeremy taking a 'white substance', according to The Sun there's no actual proof Jeremy took drugs, as a representative for the star said: "Jeremy has never spoken to this guy in his life and those are ‘fake’ messages".
