Stephanie Davis has been left feeling ‘deflated’ after it emerged that music producers she’d been working with to launch a pop career have dropped her.
The reality star – who was fuming recently when she found out that Jeremy McConnell was in talks to join Ex on the Beach – was planning to re-vamp her career by breaking into the music industry, and had been working closely with producers.
However, before she could even attempt to burst onto the pop scene, they allegedly ditched Steph mid project.
A source told The Sun: "Stephanie has received yet another devastating blow. Music producers she was working with have decided to go their separate ways.
"She was hoping for big things and it just never happened. A lot of things were promised but the material and voice just wasn't there."
The insider also added that Steph has found the whole ordeal harder after seeing fellow reality TV star, Megan Mckenna, do so well in the music charts.
They said: "After seeing Megan McKenna reach the massive success with her latest ITVBe programme and her position in the charts recently, to say Steph is feeling deflated is an understatement."
Megan has seen huge success recently, with her single 'High Heeled Shoes' even briefly beating Pink and Taylor Swift to the top of the charts.
This isn't the first time that Stephanie has attempted to break into the world of pop, as earlier this year she released a single on Soundcloud called Missin', and promised more would follow.
The rejection will come as a massive blow to Steph following a difficult year.
Not long ago, she suffered a miscarriage while Jeremy McConnell was on trial for assaulting her. The Irish model was found guilty, and sentenced to 20 weeks in prison, suspended for a year.
