Unless you’ve somehow managed to avoid the Internet, tabloid press or the occasional episode of This Morning over the last year, you’ll know Stephanie Davis and Jeremy McConnell’s relationship was nothing short of tumultuous. And things took a dark turn in summer when Jeremy was arrested for assaulting Stephanie.
The pair – who share a son, nine-month old Caben Albi – have always been pretty vocal about their opinions of each other, regularly taken to social media to call each other out.
And now Steph has lashed out on Twitter accusing Jeremy of never seeing his son. She’s also hit back at trolls accusing her of stopping him from spending time with Caben.
Replying to a fan commenting on baby Caben’s likeness to Jeremy, Steph wrote: “His dad may not care about him or even ask about him or pay for him,but yeah,he looks like his daddy.But it's who brings him up,His momma (sic)”.
She then followed this up with a tweet telling fans her son comes first.
“I enjoy being mummy AND daddy.. at least he's not being let down over&over from a self inguldent womanisier..My SON comes first,” Steph wrote.
When several of her followers took the opportunity to criticize Steph, saying Caben should be given the chance to see his father, the former Hollyoaks star accused Jeremy of being more interested in ‘partying and women’ than spending time with his son.
“Would never EVER stop Jeremy having his father in his life, but he hasn't bothered, too interested in partying and women #deadbeat,” she replied to her followers.
“I get trolled for not letting his dad see him I WOULD IF HIS DADDY eveN ASKED! He doesn't give a crap!! So stop the hate.”
Jeremy has not yet responded to Steph’s claims.
