Stephanie Davis and Jeremy McConnell have been estranged for nearly a year, after getting together on Celebrity Big Brother and despite Stephanie carrying Jez's baby, but now they've reunited. And not only that, but it's got pretty serious pretty quickly; Stephanie recently revealed she was the one to tell Jeremy that his dad sadly passed away.
Following a short battle with cancer, Jeremy's dad Eugene Cooke passed away in March and Steph was the one to break the bad news.
"I was the one who had to tell him," she told OK! magazine.
"Jeremy's phone is broken so his sister called me to let me know what had happened.
"[He] was due to come over to mine so when he got there I asked him to sit down, but he could tell just by looking at me what had happened.
"It was one of the worst things I have had to tell someone in my life."
She added: "He was very close to his dad so it's hit him hard.
"It's been heartbreaking but he's managed to stay remarkably strong.
"Sadly his dad never got to meet Caben, which is devastating as I know how much he was looking forward to meeting him."
On the plus side, the couple have reunited after it was officially confirmed that Jeremy was the dad of little Caben-Ali following some paternity tests and serious rumour-mill cranking (at one point Scotty T's name was in the mix...).
"If someone told me a few months ago that Jeremy and I would be on speaking terms I would have laughed in their face," Steph said.
"I never thought that we would be able to forgive each other for what has gone on in the past, but having Caben around has changed everything.
"We have both done a lot of growing up, we're not the same people we were and are trying our best to co-parent as much as we can in order to be good parents to our son."
