If 2017 is the year of the come back we want to see Girls Aloud reforming. Sugababes (we don't mind which ones) would be welcomed with open arms. Obviously a One Direction get together would also be massive.
One reunion we weren't really expecting was Steps who performed their latest single "Story of my Heart" on this morining's Lorraine Kelly.
If you didn't know, Steps have actually been back together for several months now, and some fans of the group love their new material.
But while we love a throwback, the ABBA-esque vibes of the band didn't seem to go down well with all viewers.
Speaking on the show, however, the group pointed out there is a reason their new tune sounds like the Swedish pop band:
"It sounds like ABBA because it's written by the same guys that wrote for ABBA," explained Claire Richards.
Discussing why the gang decided to get back together, Claire also revealed that it was all about timing.
"To be honest, it just feels right after 20 years. I feel like we have the benefit of hindsight now. People always wish to have hindsight. We did it 20 years ago, we had a great time, and now we're back and we know what to do."
TBH we're glad they are back together. Hopefully this will mean they'll be performing some throwback renditions of faves like "Tragedy".
