If you’re a fan of cheesy 90s pop groups and amazingly catchy music this is MASSIVE news - Steps are set to reform.

The band - made up of singers Claire Richards, Lisa Scott-Lee, Faye Tozer, Ian ‘H’ Watkins and Lee Latchford-Evans - are set to perform together again for the first time in four years.

The group will take to the stage at London’s G-A-Y nightclub to celebrate their 20 year anniversary.

The five some first got back together in 2011 and made the documentary Steps: Reunion but are now returning to the limelight once more.

A source told The Sun: “They had a blast getting back together in 2011 and were blown away by the public reaction… especially when their arena tour sold out.

“Steps still have such a special place in all their fans’ hearts and they want to celebrate everything they’ve achieved over the past two decades.”

Steps were formed in 1997 and stormed the charts with singles such as Chain Reaction and Tragedy.

They went on to score 10 top 5 singles and sold over 20 million records.

The band announced they were to split on Boxing Day in 2001 and they all went on to work on their own projects.

It is thought the group might go on tour again after their upcoming New Year’s Eve reunion gig but they are yet to announce any dates.
