Earlier this month Steve-o climbed up a huge crane in Hollywood to protest against SeaWorld, and got himself arrested.

The Jackass star took an inflatable orca up with him, and wore a Blackfish T-shirt to highlight his opposition to SeaWorld and the way the animals are looked after there.

More than 80 firefighters and 30 LAPD officers attended the scene after receiving reports of a potential suicide.

And now it looks like he could actually end up in jail for this little stunt.

He’s looking at up to 4-and-a-half years for the charges, including creating a false emergency, the use of unregistered fireworks, storing and possession of fireworks without a permit and trespassing, according to the City News Service.

He will appear in court on 31 August and could face fines of up to $4,500 as well as a potential custodial sentence.
