Stevi Ritchie and Chloe-Jasmine Whichello have apparently cancelled their wedding AGAIN just hours after they were due to tie the knot.
We know. We know. It's almost as if this marriage was never supposed to happen, isn't it?
Last week, the ex-X Factor lovebirds jetted out to Cyprus for what was supposed to be a romantic wedding ceremony among friends and family.
But it didn't happen – and it's all because Chloe's family are still not sure about Stevi.
Opening up about their disappointment to OK, Chloe explained that they'd decided to hold a 'blessing' on board a fancy yacht while they were out in Cyprus – because "I just thought it could be one of those things that couples do. You know, cinema, Harvester, yacht blessing…".
She went on: "It’s a promise that we’re going to get married. It will only put good vibes into our relationship after all the shit we’ve been through."
Interestingly, the one reason that they didn't legally get married is because of Chloe's family and their feelings towards Stevi – especially because he's still living at his parents' home in Colchester.
"We were going to get married but my family didn't agree with Stephen not having a house, so that's why we're not getting married," she added.
"We were also freaking out because we thought we're going to have this massive wedding and then not have anywhere to live."
Both she and Stevi semi-addressed the allegations that he'd been abusive towards her earlier this year, which led to them splitting in April.
Stevi admitted he'd said some things to Chloe that he wasn't happy about, which only came out because of his "insecurities".
"I did say some nasty things to her… I don't know if it's because I was stressed. I was an emotional mess and overworked," he revealed.
But after some time apart (on a juice retreat for Chloe; to a holiday park "for two days – we texted constantly" – for Stevi), the couple decided that actually, they had to be together.
Just, y'know, not enough to get legally married.
Aaaanyway. Stevi, 35, who's already got one daughter, says he wants Chloe to be pregnant by next summer - but as she doesn't want children out of wedlock, it's looking like they're going to have to get on this wedding malarkey pretty damn quickly tbh.
