Speaking to heat after the news broke, the X Factor finalist said: "It's balls, we are still together and in love and I love Chloe with all my heart."
But when someone tweeted to ask if Stevi was still performing at his wedding this coming Friday, Stevi said no.
Hmm.
EARLIER Stevi Ritchie and Chloe-Jasmine Whichello have split just three months before their wedding after an unlikely romance that started on The X Factor.
The pair, who got together after they both got kicked off the talent show in 2014, have ended their engagement amid rumours that their relationship had caused recovering alcoholic Chloe to relapse.
A statement made on behalf of the couple said the reality TV stars were taking a break due to their "busy work schedules", but a friend close to Chloe went further.
Speaking to the Mirror, the source said: "Chloe has decided to end her engagement.
"The relationship became abusive and volatile causing her to heavily relapse into alcohol abuse. She had to get out of the relationship. It became very toxic."
The couple were getting ready to tie the knot this summer, with Stevi recently telling one interviewer that their nuptials would take place in July 2016 and the wedding guests included Simon Cowell and Cheryl Fernandez-Versini.
It was one of the weirdest romances to have ever emerged from The X Factor (other than Cheryl and Liam Payne) – many accused Stevi and Chloe of perpetuating a showmance, even after they announced they'd do a lie detector test to prove their love was, like, totes for realsies.
