News that will reaffirm your belief that the universe is a random and unusual place time now, and Stevi Ritchie and Chloe-Jasmine Whichello have confirmed their engagement on This Morning.
Speaking to Amanda Holden and Philip Schofield – who they genuinely invited to their upcoming wedding live on air – the X Factor couple spilled the beans on how Stevi popped the question.

“It was in a really nice restaurant on her birthday eve,” Stevi explained.
“I had a £10 bag filled with tissue paper and newspaper, and the ring was hidden inside it.”
Apparently Chloe didn’t really understand there was a significant present hidden within it, so just started exclaiming that there was “so much texture!” – amazing.
“She thought it was a teddy bear,” Stevi added, while Chloe said: “We’d just been to boot camp so we were STARVING, and I was concentrating more on the chocolates.”
Incredible. Stevi also managed to get a 10% discount on Chloe’s engagement ring, which prompted a reasonably awkward air-pump exchange with money-saving expert Martin Lewis.
They’re now planning to get married next summer and want Stevi’s daughter to be a bridesmaid.
“He’s just so unique and charming and funny. He makes me laugh all the time,” said Chloe of her new fiancé.
“I’m a commoner and I never thought in a thousand years I’d be with someone like her,” he replied.
N’aww.
The pair have also been TMIing all over the shop by discussing their sex life – apparently they’ve reached 10th base, which we don’t even want to think about but the mind pictures WON’T STOP.
“We have had a really great connection in bed since the start. If we were at sixth base before, now we’re definitely a ten – the sex is very magical,” Stevi told the Sun On Sunday.
“Instead of saying ‘shag’, now I say ‘make love’. When you have a one-night stand with someone then it’s just a shag.”
There you go. Life advice from Stevi Ritchie. Who would’ve thought it would come to this?
