We thought today would be a happy one - you know we've got that #TGIF feeling - but NOOOO, One Direction fans have been as so kind to remind us that TODAY it has been ONE HUNDRED days since Zayn Malik left 1D.

The loyal followers of the now foursome band - after Zayn left the group earlier this year to persue a 'normal life' - got on Twitter to mark the occasion by putting out thousands of tweets.

They even created the hashtags '100 days since Zayn left' and '100 days without Zayn'.
