Just a couple of weeks ago Stranger Things fans were delighted to finally get a chance to watch (or binge-watch) the third season of the popular Netflix series. And now, viewers are getting the chance to see some behind-the-scenes footage of some of the fantastic scenes that we saw in the series.
Now, before we get stuck into it, if you HAVEN'T watched Stranger Things 3 beware, because this article is full of spoilers!
So, now that we've got that out of the way, Stranger Things 3 is full of some fantastic scenes, as we get to see the full effects the Mind Flayer has on Hawkins. After what seems like a calm start to the series, it soon changes as Billy finds himself possessed by the Mind Flayer, eventually prompting Eleven to spy on his suspicious behaviour.
Earlier this month, Millie Bobby Brown who plays Eleven, opened up about the stunts in the most recent series of Stranger Things. Talking to Entertainment Weekly she said, "You know the scenes where it looks like I’m falling? [When Eleven goes into Billy’s memories] I had to learn how to basically throw myself backwards and forwards for a few hours. And by the end of it, I was gagging because I was so nauseous, but it was the best. I loved it, I loved every second of it. But yes, stunt-wise, it was quite difficult this year."
Millie has now taken to Instagram to share the behind-the-scenes footage of this stunt and it's no surprise she felt ill after it. We feel ill just watching!
In less than a day the video has attracted a huge amount of attention, with comments from several celebrities being left including Stacey Solomon who said, 'This is amazing 😂🙌🏼😂🙌🏼', and American actress Vera Farmiga who said, '...like a record Baby, round, round, round, round. Yeeeeeaaaaah Girl. 🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤'. [sic]
In other Stranger Things news, Dacre Montgomery who plays Billy recently opened up about his teenage struggles. Alongside an old headshot, Dacre told his fans, 'When I was a kid, I was lost. I had a really tough time in school. I was a big kid who loved drama.
'I never got passing grades, I wasn’t popular or a gifted sports player. Girls were never interested in me. I suffered from anxiety from a young age.'
However, he finished his caption with an inspirational message telling his fans, 'I never let the failures get me down. Because I believed in myself and I never let anyone tell me otherwise. You can do anything you set your mind to. So, go out there and get it!'

For some of the laboratory scenes, Millie (Eleven) was fully submerged in an underwater immersion tank. She was able to breathe by wearing a Sea Trek helmet, which weighs approximately 70 lbs above water; it weighs 15 lbs beneath the surface of the water. The helmet was designed for shallow 'underwater walking'.

To direct Millie while she was underwater, the Duffers communicated with her through a small radio in her ear.
