It was revealed on BBC Breakfast this morning that Carol Kirkwood is the next celebrity to join this year's Strictly Come Dancing contestants.
Speaking about her news Carol said: “I am beyond excited to be taking part in the best programme on British telly and have been a huge fan since it started! I can't wait to learn to dance and hope my experience on Strictly will be a breeze, whether it will be or not is one forecast I cannot predict!”

The weather presenter, who is on The Chris Evans Breakfast Show every day, has performed "special" routines for Children in Need, so we'll see how she fairs for the world of latin and ballroom. You'll be great Carol!
Over the weekend, it was announced that Katie Derham was confirmed for this year’s Strictly.
She is a BBC presenter for Proms (an annual eight week season of classical music concerts) and also presents on Radio 3, and has hosted the Classical BRIT Awards.
Katie, who described Strictly as a “national treasure” of a show said: "I spend hours admiring professional musicians and performers at the Proms and BBC Radio 3, so I'm thrilled to have the chance to throw myself into an equally demanding and beautiful world."
She continued: "It will be a totally new experience for me and I can't wait to get going."
They will join Ainsley Harriott, Kellie Bright, Georgie May Foote and Jeremy Vine.
And more celebrity contestants for the new series of Strictly will be announced in due course.
