Strictly Come Dancinghas revealed its line-up of professional dancers for 2016 – but one name missing from the list has left viewers devastated.

Hunky Russian dancer Gleb Savchenkohas become the fourth professional to walk away from the BBC hit, citing ‘family commitments’ for his departure.

"I thoroughly enjoyed taking part on the last series of Strictly Come Dancing and especially the way that the UK gave me such a warm welcome," he said in a statement.

"But due to family commitments I won’t be returning to the show for the next series – I’ll definitely be tuning in though."

Safe to say, fans of the dancer were not happy with the news.

"No more GLEB?! Okay, this week can officially f*ck off now. (Hold me, Pasha.) #needahug #restart2016, " one distraught viewer tweeted.

While another said: "Gutted that @Gleb_Savchenko won't be a professional on #strictly this year [sad face emoji] Anita & Gleb were my favourites in 2015!"

Gleb was paired up with Countryfile presenter Anita Rani last year (remember their tango?!) but they sadly crashed out in the semi-final.

However, according to The Sun, Gleb has walked away from his newfound fame in order to save his marriage to Elena Samodanova, fearing the ‘curse of Strictly’ – which has ended many celebrity relationships – could strike again.

While pro dancers Ola Jordan, Kristina Rihanoff, Tristan MacManus and last year’s winner Aliona Vilani have also left the show, the BBC have drafted in three agile new dancers: World Champion Katya Jones, Ukrainian champion Oksana Platero and Spanish professional dancer Gorka Marquez.

Strictly won't be the same without you, Gleb.
