Since Judy Murray was booted out of Strictly Come Dancing she has left the dancing behind in favour of playing tennis with her son Jamie against Anton Du Beke and his girlfriend at Wimbledon.
We caught up with her on the red carpet at the Cosmopolitan Ultimate Women Awards with Baileys, held at London’s One Mayfair, to see if she’ll be giving her son Andy Murray any first dance pointers – after he announced his engagement to Kim Sears last month.
Judy told* heat* exclusively: “I think it’s highly unlikely that I’ll be giving Andy any first dance tips since I am absolutely appalling. I don’t know if Andy can dance, it’s not like I go out dancing with him or socialising with him, so I’m not sure if he’s a good dancer or not. I suspect he’s a little bit like me, a little bit shy and probably a bit challenged.”
Ouch. Sounds like some proper lessons from Judy’s Strictly pals could come in handy for Andy this Christmas…
