Ola Jordan has been told she may never dance again after undergoing a painful knee operation.

The Strictly Come Dancing professional checked into London’s Cromwell Hospital last week after breaking her leg whilst training for Channel 4 show The Jump.

Ola, who was rumoured to have quit the BBC ballroom dance contest in December, seemed in reasonably good spirits before the procedure when she was accompanied to hospital by her fellow Strictly pro and former Celebrity Big Brother housemate husband James Jordan.

She posed for a picture as she lay in the bed on her ward and jokingly tweeted a picture of the slippers bought by her family before she checked in to hospital.

But she has since been told she only has a 50-50 chance of dancing again and is said to be devastated at the news.

A friend told the Sunday Mirror: “It’s 50-50 she will dance again. It is terribly sad.

“Facing never being able to do it is incredibly tough for her.”
