Strictly Come Dancing are allegedly preparing to showcase a same-sex dance routine, performed by professionals Graziano Di Prima and Johannes Radebe, which will air on the results show on Sunday, November 3.
It comes after their dancing show competitor Dancing on Ice pipped them to the post, with it being revealed Ian 'H' Watkins and Matt Evers had been partnered up.
A Strictly insider said, “It’s a brave move for the Beeb and will break boundaries but bosses are under a lot of pressure.
“There have been calls for same-sex pro and celebrity pairings. This is an ideal way to integrate that.
“It will hopefully pave the way for a same-sex couple next year. It’s a step in the right direction for making the show even more diverse."

This will be welcomed news to many fans of the show, as well as judge Craig Revel-Horwood, who has previously admitted he's begged BBC producers to include same-sex partnering.
Speaking on Lorraine back in 2017, the 54-year-old said, "I think same-sex couples can exist, yes. You only have to decide who is going backwards really.
"I hope it does happen. In the world of competition, there are same sex couples who do it so it is possible."
He continued, "The Beeb [BBC] have to decide when they want to do that. I think it’ll happen."
