This time last year YouTube sensation Joe Sugg and Strictly Come Dancing professional Dianne Buswell barely even knew each other... Fast forward a year, throw some sexy dance routines into the mix, and now the cute couple are constantly having to shut down engagement rumours.
Now, ahead of the 2019 series of Strictly hitting our TV screens on Saturday 7th September, Joe has sent his GF a cute little card for her returning to work on the show.
Sharing a photo of a card with the words 'You're a star' written across it, Dianne captioned the snap with, 'When joe_sugg writes you a card out before the big day'. Made me tear up just a little'. [sic]
Of course, despite rumours being rife during last year's show that Joe and Dianne were romantically dating, the pair refused to comment... Until the series was over.
After Joe and Dianne were beaten in the final by Stacey Dooley and Kevin Clifton (who are also reportedly dating), Joe confirmed their romance in a cute Instagram snap. In a photo which showed the pair gazing into each other's eyes, Joe wrote, ' 'I may not have won the glitter ball, but I’ve won something a million times more special.' [sic]
In January 2019, fans were convinced the pair were engaged after the popular YouTube star posted a photo in which Dianne was sporting a ring on her ring finger. They also took the next step in their relationship by moving in together in earlier this month.
As Dianne returns to the set of Strictly, Joe has landed a role in West End musical Waitress, featuring both Lucie Jones and Ashley Roberts.
In an interview about the new job, Joe admitted that he'd been "shocked" to receive the role, and that although it "scared" him, he wants to "continue to do stuff that pushes and scares" him, because the feeling afterwards is "incredible.
