Taylor Swift was NOT doing cocaine at the VMAs everyone

A representative for Taylor Swift, ruler of all the world, has vehemently denied that she took cocaine backstage at the MTV VMA awards at the weekend.

A video had emerged on YouTube that purported to show Taylor taking coke.

It’s now, unsurprisingly, been taken down but apparently showed the Shake It Off singer walking down a dimly lit corridor with four members of Team Taylor.

It’s said that Taylor then stopped and asked one of her minions to pass her something and they formed a protective circle around her, linking arms.

Then nose business occurred, including one of Team Taylor checking up the singer’s nostrils.

However, the checking occurred before the nose business which is apparently important, and when looked at properly the video CLEARLY shows that Taylor was handed a tissue and NOT a baggy plus a rolled up note.

A representative for Taylor told Gawker that the singer was merely blowing her nose, and didn’t want that image to appear on MTV.

How were a tissue and a bag of drugs ever confused? We suppose they could both be white but come on, folks.

Hang on – does that mean that Taylor’s pal checked her nose BEFORE she blew it? Gross.

Now that’s a story right there. (It isn’t).

And it could be worse, eh? She could have guffed.
