Taylor Swift has had a 'change of heart' by annoucing she has decided to put her *1989 *album on Apple Music.

The 25-year-old *Bad Blood *hitmaker tweeted the news earlier today to express that she is now happily allowing Apple to sell her music, after previously saying she wouldn't do so.

She posted to her 59 million Twitter followers: "After the events of this week, I've decided to put 1989 on Apple Music...and happily so.

"In case you're wondering if this is some exclusive deal like you've seen Apple do with other artists, it's not.

"This is simply the first time it's felt right in my gut to stream my album. Thank you, Apple, for your change of heart."

Tay's tweets.

Earlier this week Tay-Tay showed how she has truly made a stamp in the music history books.

Forget her record breaking songs/albums and the fact that she’s on Forbes’ list of the 100 most powerful women – Tay got one of the biggest companies in the world to change a policy, all by writing an open letter.

A day after the singer/songwriter wrote the letter Apple Music confirmed they had changed their payment policy.

In her letter Tay expressed why she would not allow them (Apply Music) to stream her 1989 album, because of their three-month free trial offered to subscribers.

“This is about the new artist or band that has just released their first single and will not be paid for its success,” Taylor wrote on her blog.

“This is about the young songwriter who just got his or her first cut and thought that the royalties from that would get them out of debt. This is about the producer who works tirelessly to innovate and create, just like the innovators and creators at Apple are pioneering in their field…but will not get paid for a quarter of a year’s worth of plays on his or her songs.”

Shortly after her message, Apple’s senior vice president of Internet Software and Services, Eddy Cue tweeted the star and later confirmed they’d made changes.

“Apple will always make sure that artist are paid #iTunes #AppleMusic,” Eddy said on Twitter.

“#AppleMusic will pay artist for streaming, even during customer’s free trial period.

“We hear you @taylorswift13 and indie artists. Love, Apple.”

Not long after her superstar DJ boyfriend, Calvin Harris, gushed about his gf online, telling his fans: “I just played a gig inside a giant owl and my girl just changed the entire music industry what a day.”

AND NOW Tay's album will be available to purchase through iTunes. All in a week's work.
