Exactly eight years from the very awards where Kanye West interrupted her acceptance speech to mention Beyonce (oh, how could we forget) Taylor Swift unveiled her new video for Look What You Made Me Do and it's full of satire, digs at ex-lovers and one-ups on those who have scorned her.
(KIMYE, we are looking at you!)
It's Taylor Swift's first single since 2014 and it was showcased at last night's MTV's Video Music Awards, where Katy Perry was the host. It could have been more awkward, given that they are 'feuding' (even though KP recently said she 'loved her'.) but Taylor didn't actually attend the fancy-shmancy ceremony, in person.
She didn't need to.
Taylor Swift's new music video is quite simply art. So much so, we are surprised all gongs weren't taken back from Kendrick Lemar (a la 2009) and sent to T-Swizzle's lair via express delivery.
Please watch it now. If you've watched it already, watch it again.
However, the Mail Online has footage of ex-boyfriend Calvin Harris deciding NOT to clap after the first showing of the music video was revealed to the arena.
BURN.
But, at least no one was watching. Oh wait, it was the biggest night of the awards calendar, of course they bloody were.
Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris were dating for 15 months, before they had the mother of all break ups and Tay moved on to actor/fitlord Tom Hiddleston just a few weeks later. Tom then wore an 'I love TS' t-shirt on the beach and they later broke up as 'she didn't want to be in a public relationship.'
So, Calvin Harris wasn't a fan of the new video. That's fair enough, given their history. But what did the other celebs think of it all?
Erm, well BFF Ed Sheeran was the only one who was properly watching.
Miley and Noah Cyrus were too busy taking selfies and Katy Perry did not look amused.
