On 15 August, seven-year-old Jacob Velazquez’s mum shared a video of him playing the piano on YouTube.
The little boy then played an incredible six-minute medley of songs from Taylor’s 1989 album from memory. And it wasn’t just us he blew away. Taylor saw Jacob’s incredible talent and invited him to join her on tour.
Tweeting his account, Taylor said: “@JacobsPiano I HAVE to give you a hug for that beautiful piano medley you did! Please come to a show on my tour and say hi to me? My treat.”

The video of Jacob, who’s on the Autism Spectrum, was posted alongside a blog on Autism Speaks by his mum, Tina, who wrote about how much Jacob admires the Shake It Off star.
“He dreams (literally has dreams) of meeting her every night,” Tina wrote. “I have explained to him that she has millions of fans who would all love to meet her. “Taylor inspires Jacob to keep striving to be his best. He has asked me how she became so talented and I tell him that she has been practising for a very long time.
“He wonders if he will be as talented and have as many fans as she does. I remind him that Taylor Swift's talent didn't just happen, she worked very hard and practised a lot to become who she is today.”
We think you’re going to have millions of fans too, Jacob.
We can’t wait to see them together on stage.
