Taylor Swift is super-cool – we all know that. So it’s no great surprise that she likes hanging out with other equally cool people.
The Bad Blood star has said that getting to party with her pop star pals is the best thing about going to award shows.
Tay Tay believes that making friends with other musicians at the ceremonies has helped her to enjoy the events which can often feel "competitive" and "strange".
She said: "That's the cool part about the musical climate right now, is that I go to these award shows and I really do feel like I'm seeing a lot of my friends and the more friends that I make that are awesome and cool and are at these events, the less it feels like some strange competitive atmosphere.
"That doesn't feel as nice as going to an award show and feeling like, 'Hey! It's everyone that I really loved!'"
Taylor’s super-showbiz pals include Ed Sheeran and Sam Smith, and she said on Lorraine this morning that she is so thrilled with their success.
"I think that it's been amazing to watch artists like Ed and Sam to put out their first single and have things hit so quickly and they are people that I am a huge fan of, I love what they do and I think that they are absolutely authentic and to top it off they are amazing people, they are fun to hang out with."
Talking of celeb friends, Taylor is currently on the road with her 1989 world tour, and invited non-music pals, models Cara Delevingne and Gigi Haddid, to walk the stage with her at the Philadelphia gig, though she wouldn't reveal whether she will treat fans in the UK to the same surprise now she's in Britain.
She said: "I think it's fun to have people pop up and make special guest appearances on the tour even if they're not musicians, like, fans still love them. The cool thing about surprise guests is that they are surprises."
That's cool… but just tell us, yeah?
