Basically the whole world has been engaged in some sort of mad competition to take the best selfie for a few years now.
We have no idea how or why it was started, but there it is.
Contenders have included that Oscar one, which basically had every famous person in the world in it (close, anyway) and was the best thing we’d ever seen.
There was Tim Peake, just casually tweeting selfies from space (as ya do).
Then there’s everything Kim Kardashian’s ever done.
But it looks like there may be a new front-runner in the competition, as the medal adorned Team GB have taken the most incredible selfie EVER with their flight attendant on their way home from Rio.
We may have finished second on the leaderboard with a ridic 67 medals, but we think this pic could possibly be our finest achievement.
Well done, team.
This Olympics has been a particularly great one, and not just because of the whole it being this country’s best ever thing, but because of all the weird and amazing shit that happened.
There was that time US gymnast Simone Biles was literally all of us when she met Zac Efron, and kinda died a little (not literally) when he surprised her at the games.
There was also that time Australian badminton player Sawan Serasinghe had quite literally the best response to not winning a medal we’d ever seen, and ordered from McDonald's: four packs of chicken nuggets, six burgers, six packs of fries, six cakes, and a nice healthy bottle of water.
Basically a standard hangover day, really.
And not forgetting Chinese swimmer Fu Yuanhui, and literally everything she did.
