Now there have been a fair few rumours Lewis Hamilton has been in the recording studio, the biggest rumour being when he posted an actual picture of himself in the studio. Were you laying down some tracks Lew? (Is that the right lingo?)
So aside from previously dating former Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger (in the music industry - in case you didn't know), now another musical link, Tinie Tempah has stepped in to speak on the Formula 1's musical talents.
Appaz the singer/rapper, who has so many clothes he keeps some at his aunt's house, thinks Lewis' tunes are 'really good'.
Tinie, real name Patrick, told The Mirror: "I heard one of his songs when I was in LA recording two weeks ago.
"He played me one of his songs and it's actually really good, I'm not going to lie to you.
"It doesn't even sound like Lewis Hamilton. It's really, really good. It's interesting. I'm curious to see how people will react to it."
Don't get us wrong, we LOVE Lewis Hamilton the Formula 1 driver. Doing it big for the Brits in the motor sports world. But what exactly does Lewis Hamilton sound like anyway?
Tinie added: "At first I was a little bit apprehensive. But after I heard the record, I was like, yeah, why do we put people into boxes?
"Like, if you're an actor, don't you dare do a song, or if you're Arnold Schwarzenegger don't run for Governor of California."
Reportedly Lewis has since worked with producer Rodney Jenkins, who has worked with Lady Gaga and Michael Jackson.
We suppose Lew has been hanging out with models Kendall Jenner, Gigi Hadid and pals. That must move him up the hierarchy grid to becoming a music artist.
He said: "If a song I did was good enough for someone to want to sing it, that'd be awesome. To be known as a writer, would be pretty awesome. But I'm going to try and get that third world championship and that takes priority."
Yes best to stick to that day job Lew.
