There are a few people we might have the balls to throw a cheeky comment or question at but super hard Tom Hardy is not one of them. A reporter in Toronto soon found out the Brit actor was not to be messed with when he recently asked the star a shady question…

Tom was at a press conference in TIFF to promote his new film, Legend, when a journalist said the actor’s sexuality was ‘ambiguous.’

Hardy was far from impressed with Graeme Coleman’s line of questioning, going on to shut the LGBT journo down in a body-cringe way. Which went a little something like this…

Graeme: 'In the film, your character Ronnie is very open about his sexuality but given interviews you've done in the past, your own sexuality seems a bit more ambiguous. Do you find it hard for celebrities to talk to media about their sexuality?'

Tom: ‘What on earth are you talking about? Are you asking me about my sexuality? Why?’

Coleman mentioned an interview Tom Hardy did with Attitude magazine in 2008 where he said ‘of course’ he had previously had relations with men.

‘As a boy? Of course I have. I’m an actor for f***’s sake. I’m an artist. I’ve played with everything and everyone.’

Tom later stated in a 2011 chat with* Marie Claire* that his comments had been ‘misconstrued.’

This is a man who has played not one but TWO major London hard men in his latest flick. We’d seriously think twice about asking him anything that might pee him off, tbh.

Hardy is married to fellow actress Charlotte Riley who is pregnant with the couple’s first child. Tom already has a son from a previous relationship.
